A crash Tuesday morning on I-70 in western Vigo County involving a semi and an Indiana Department of Transportation truck closed one westbound lane of traffic for two hours, according to Indiana State Police.

Two drivers were taken to the hospital with complaints of pain, but no serious injuries, said Sgt. Matt Ames, ISP Putnamville Post public information officer.

The accident occurred at 11:20 a.m. near the 7 1/2 mile marker.

The semi-driver told police he was drowsy at the time of the accident, when he failed to see the arrow board on the INDOT truck and ran into it.
